Closet Fever, in the burgeoning neighborhood of Northern Liberties, is far from a typical salon. Beehive Hair Salon, a
funky, retro shop in the Fairmount section of Philadelphia, mixes an
old-fashioned barbershop with down to earth retro chic. Co-owners Amy May and
Peg Shaw designed the two-chair salon to be inviting and unintimidating,
unlike many upscale establishments. Don’t be surprised to see the partners’
