"CUT THE LINE AT ANYTIME"
FIRST-EVER HOTEL PACKAGE IS A WINNER FOR PHILADELPHIA X GAMES GUESTS
PHILADELPHIA, July 2, 2001 – Fans of the ESPN X Games will have a new trick this summer in Philadelphia - moving to the front of the line. They don’t have to "tailwhip" or "misty flip."* Just reserve a hotel package and hotel guests (up to four per room) get a "Cut the Line at Anytime" pass for the X Games.
The Philadelphia X Games 2001 hotel package will be the only source of guaranteed entry for the public during day and night sessions. The "Cut the Line at Anytime" pass is good for all events throughout the duration of the user’s hotel stay. Passes will be presented upon check-in. Indoor events will be held at the First Union Center.
The 2001 X Games will be in Philadelphia from August 17-22. This is the first time the events will be held at indoor as well as outdoor venues, and the first time since 1996 to be held on the East Coast.
Eleven Philadelphia hotels are participating in the package with overnight rates starting at only $79**. Participating hotels are Best Western Center City, Courtyard by Marriott – Downtown, Doubletree Hotel Philadelphia, Embassy Suites, Hampton Inn, Hilton Garden Inn, Holiday Inn Express Midtown, Hotel Windsor, Hyatt Regency at Penn’s Landing, Omni Hotel Independence Park and the Philadelphia Airport Marriott.
