Center City Restaurant Openings

Bleu: Opened by restauranter Neil Stein in the Sheraton Rittenhouse Square Hotel, the intimate restaurant has an outdoor café facing Rittenhouse Square. Bleu serves American bistro cuisine with French and Asian influences. The Happy Rooster: Re-opened under new management, the restaurant has been renovated and taken over by a team from many of the city’s top restaurants. The restaurant will serve entrees made from fresh, seasonal ingredients prepared with a modern flair. 118 S. 16th St. (215) 963-9311.

Iron Hill Brewery & Restaurant: Features distinctive, full-flavored, handcrafted beers accompanied by inspired, yet informal, regional cuisine in a casual atmosphere. Krukker and Wild Thing’s Foul Territory Sports Grille: Phillies fans can mingle with former Phillies John Kruk and Mitch Williams. The Ritz-Carlton Philadelphia: Four new restaurants include Pantheon and Paris Bar and Grill, The Vault, an intimate tobacco lounge, and The Rotunda, for afternoon tea, cocktails and light dining. Pantheon will serve classical Italian cuisine. Paris Bar & Grill will have an open kitchen and serve cuisine called "gourmet simplicity."
